We come together with heavy hearts to remember a brave and selfless NYPD Police Officer from Bronx Narcotics who tragically lost his life on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Police Officer Alexis Martinez was a dedicated individual whose mission was to provide for his family who he loved so dearly. He started his career in the 40 precinct as a cadet. He then became a Police Officer and was assigned to the 34 precinct. PO Martinez then transferred to Bronx Narcotics on February 15, 2023. He also was an amazing softball player, Shortstop #7, for the Bronx Narcotics team in the Police Commissioners League and for the Fort Apache Dodgers Softball team. 

This fundraiser holds great importance as we mourn the loss of a hero who always put others before himself. Our aim today is to offer support and solace to the family of Officer Alexis Martinez during this unimaginable time. 

The funds raised today will go directly to Officer Martinez’s family to help ease the financial burden they may face and provide much needed support during this period of grief. Our contributions will serve as a tribute to Officer Martinez’s service and sacrifice.

This fundraiser is a call to action for us to stand by this hero and the ones they leave behind, offering unwavering support and gratitude.

In times of tragedy, the power of community and compassion shines through. Today, we stand together, united in grief, but also in our determination to honor the memory of Officer Martinez and ensure that his legacy lives on through our actions.
