Law Enforcement
Support For Officer Brett Boller
On Wednesday, April 5th, NYPD Police Officer Brett Boller was shot and seriously injured in the line of duty. Brett, a rookie officer assigned to the 103rd Precinct, encountered an individual who was causing a disturbance on a bus. As Brett and his partner removed the suspect, a struggle ensued onto the street. During the fight, the perpetrator brandished a firearm and shot Brett in the lower abdomen/hip, causing serious injury. Brett was rushed to Jamaica Hospital and went into hours-long surgery. He was intubated to assist in the recovery process that night and doctors believe he will recover well. This morning, April 7th, Brett woke up and is doing well. However, he has to have a secondary surgery tomorrow to remove a blood clot.
Brett has a very long road of recovery ahead of him. He comes from a law enforcement family and is following in his fathers footsteps. Let’s help take care of Brett and his family by raising as much money as possible to help cover unexpected costs and anything they’ll need. Let’s show them what the Thin Blue Line is made of!

This job isn’t easy but we do it. We may not like a coworker or 2 but we will always standby them in the time of need.
